Man! I wore some of these around my granddad about a year ago, he told me the last time he’d seen them they were 10 or 20 cents! Still a good shoe though. These PF Flyers shoes are the same classic style we’ve grown to know and love over the years. With its distinct canvas upper, the Centre Lo features a rubber sole unit with bumper toe box along with white laces, accents and midsole. Maybe it’s just me but I will always be a Vans customer. Just something about the cleaness, or how I can just throw on some khaki denim and a white tee. Now that’s crispy! Boards and boats mix on this latest Vans Vault release, the Sk8-Hi Boat LX. Accompanying the Navy pair that dropped last month is this new colorway, which partners buttery suede and premium leather. The former material is black and covers the ankle/foxing area, while the forefoot and tongue are brown leather. Matching the white vulcanized sole is the toe area contrast stitching. This shoe, in collaboration with EA SPORTS, was created by Nike for the FIGHT NIGHT Champion video game which released yesterday. It is inspired by the term “sang de Boeuf” (blood of the Ox) and pays tribute to the story of the “Raging Bull” like character. Design cues include a red, rich patent leather (flash/flair) and natural grain hints (boxers glove) to create ties to the sport of boxing. Lastly, Nike incorporated a shiny, multi-span bootie material inspired by boxers robe/trunks. As stated in our previous post, the Nike Zoom Huarache Trainer Low “FIGHT NIGHT Champion” will release on April 15, 2011. Only 360 pairs will be sold to the public.

With Spring slowly but surely approaching in the “D” you got to step up the crispy as the weather breaks. Why not be on the look-out for a eye catcher for Easter, this shoe says it all. This color is seen in the form of suede on the midfoot, collar and heel. Additionally, a myth shade shows up in the form of the swoosh, mudguard and top laceholders. Other features include a black toe box, a black midsole, a yellow outsole and an inner lining of the same color.

The shoe that lifted Scottie Pippen to his second Gold Medal is set to return. A fan favorite, the Nike Air More Uptempo “Olympic” is set to retro for the first time ever in the popular Dream Team 2 colorway. The shoe we see here is a great example of the Air Force 1′s versatility. While we usually see it sporting a bright, slick colorway, this rugged aesthetic looks right at home on this iconic model. Yet another classic runner in the Nike Sportswear catalog, the Air Pegasus 89 is slated to release in the colorway we see here. The majority of the shoe is white, but three additional colors appear on the sole. The heel of the midsole is bright blue with black speckles and black and red also serve as highlight hues.

The Air Jordan 2 and Vashtie Kola collaboration is set to release at select retailers. The pair, which sports a predominately suede lavendar upper is one of the best Air Jordan 2s we’ve seen in recent times. Aside from the suede upper, a silver midsole, special edition Vashtie Kola tissue paper, and speckled laces add details we have yet so see on many Air Jordans. For ladies and guys with smaller feet, will this be a purchase you make?

Suede, mesh, and a waffle sole give the Nike Challenger ND retro running nostalgia. Originally released in the late 70s, the Challenger comes back as a casual shoe at a price point that won’t run you out of house and home. As one of the few sneakers made in the USA, the New Balance 2002 is a member of a very select group. Helping separate it from other shoes, beyond its creation location, is its technology-laden design that retains its casual appeal.
